The City of Florala is currently accepting applications for Certified Police Officer, Assistant Police Chief, and Police Chief positions. Job descriptions and applications can be downloaded online at cityofflorala.com or picked up in person at City Hall (22975 Seventh Avenue) between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (please note that City Hall is closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch).

Application deadlines are October 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM for Officer and Assistant Police Chief, and October 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM for Chief of Police.
