Due to the cold weather advisory that has been issued for our entire area for this week, the City of Florala is having a coat drive. Bitterly cold overnight temperatures in the low 20’s and these temperatures, in addition to the strong northerly wind, will lead to wind chills in the middle teens to lower 20s.

Please bring your gently used, good condition, coats/jackets to the Florala Senior Center between the hours of 8 AM -3 PM Mon-Fri. These coats and jackets will be distributed as needed during this cold period. Please call City Hall, (334) 858-3612, if you have any questions.
